News: Prototype Images of Pokemon Card BW's Beginning Sets
As we previously reported a couple of days ago, four Beginning Sets were announced on a number of online stores in Japan. Prototype pre-production renders of the boxes for the standard and DX sets of both variations have been shown on an online retailer which you can see below:

The 'boys' sets don't hint at much with the art asides from having awesome or hardcore action pose versions of the starters, while the girls version features many of the cute-class Pokemon such as Shimama and Chirami. The standard set is confirmed to have a DVD, while the DX sets are still rather much unknown. You can also see the base prototype image for the new card designs of the era, along with the era logo.

A huge thanks to chariflame for tipping us off!

With thanks to Nybbさん of Sunaba Gym we've got more information on the sets.
The standard sets have a construction start half deck with 30 cards (still unconfirmed on if it's one giant set, or three mini half decks focusing on types), coin, playmat, damage counters and markers, rulebook and a DVD. It's also explicitly stated that the Pokemon of the two sets differ, and the actual design differs (likely referring to the art brief of the two sets).

The DX kits essentially feature the same things, but also come with a Deck Box, Deck Sleeves, Mini-Note Pad, and a Trunk Case- which is likely metal and the main case given it's a toted feature.

Re: More information add
Japanese text? It would have been a lot easier for me to tranlate this if there was no Kanji, as I have difficulties with them. Anyhow, I'll try to translate, but I might make some mistakes :

"First Set" and "First Set for Girls."
This product contains all what you need to play Pokemon Card, a complete set.
Product Configuration: Half Deck Construction (set of 30 cards), damage counters, markers play mats, a Pokemon coin, as well as a set containing the items needed to battle, a DVD for "How to play" and instruction Booklets written guide with tips on how to use tan deck contains items together to support the learning rule.
"Set for Girls" is a different part of the Pokemon cards that are sealed compared to the regular "Set". The design and other things are also slightly different. The contents of every set and "Girl's Set" are the same.

Hope I helped
