Scans: 映画10周年記念プレミアムシート2007 [Japanese]
Set Name: 映画10周年記念プレミアムシート2007 (Movie 10: 10th Anniversary Premium Sheet)
Set Logo:
Number of Cards: 11
Checklist: Download (PDF)

Notes: The 10th Anniversary Sheet was unique when it came out as it branched away from the conventional movie decks that'd been happening since the 4th movie colloquially, and more officially with the 5th movie. Instead of being solely focused on Pokemon from the 10th movie it instead was a commemoration to 10 years of movies -- and thus has a card for each and every major title Pokemon of the movies over those years, all lovingly rendered by veteran TCG artists with homages to the settings of each movie taking place in the backgrounds.

The file came with 11 cards all up for it, with the 12th slot being left free for a Darkrai card. Whether they intended to actually do a proper, themed, card to go with it that could be obtained when purchasing the tickets? I don't know, but the card they did release was a DP-P promo, and for the sake of completion (and so the scans even out at a neat 12) I've included a scan of it here even though it's a bit hodgepodge in comparison to the rest of the cards.

This was actually my first ever foray officially into the Japanese cards, so it's a fairly dear collection piece for me. I bought a set brand new in 2007 when it first came out with the Darkrai movie, and added the DP-P Darkrai to it, before getting it framed behind archival glass with special mounts for the cards. I got it because I just loved the art overall, and at the time I wasn't actually back into collecting the [English] cards full on and I never thought I'd reach a point where I was kind of regretting framing it because it'd be really nice to have it in a collection folder with my decks and promos.

I was so, so wrong. 2008 came, DP6 came, and the rest is history; I finally nabbed up a second copy of this anniversary set for archival purposes and all is well!

● This file was available as a prerelease on the 14th of January 2007 to attendees of the World Hobby Fair.
● This file was publicly released on the 14th of July 2007 exclusively to movie theatres and Pokemon Centre. It was later distributed everywhere on the 3rd of August 2007.
● The file has space for 12 cards, with the 12th spot being technically taken up by Darkrai promo 046/DP-P even though it's not explicitly like any other cards of the set (in having a unique name or the set symbol.) The card was distributed with movie ticket sales.
